Job summary

Amgen Rare Disease in Southern California seeks a Neurology-focused Rare Disease Key Account Manager to drive access, diagnosis, and treatment across assigned accounts.

You will lead account plans, strengthen clinic readiness, and optimize buy-and-bill workflows by collaborating with market access, pricing, and legal teams to remove barriers.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree and 2 years of sales experience and/or related account management experience.
• Master’s degree and 4 years of sales experience and/or related account management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of sales experience and/or related account management experience.
• Associate’s degree and 10 years of sales experience and/or related account management experience.
• High School diploma/GED and 12 years of sales experience and/or related account management experience.
• Experience with complex provider accounts, specialty clinics, health systems, infusion centers, or similar sites of care.
• Knowledge of reimbursement, coding, benefit verification, prior authorization, and clinic revenue-cycle considerations.

• Lead contracting opportunities and support durable access solutions.
