Job summary

Amgen Inc. is seeking a Rare Disease Key Account Manager to reduce time to diagnosis, improve patient identification, and speed treatment by partnering with key stakeholders in targeted accounts across Rare Disease therapies.

You will lead account planning, engage clinical and administrative leaders, and collaborate with market access, pricing, and legal teams to enable durable access and optimized site-of-care workflows.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree and 2 years of sales experience and/or related account management experience
• Master’s degree and 4 years of sales experience and/or related account management experience
• Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of sales experience and/or related account management experience
• Associate’s degree and 10 years of sales experience and/or related account management experience
• High School diploma/GED and 12 years of sales experience and/or related account management experience

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute account plans to reduce time to diagnosis and improve access in Rare Disease accounts
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (sales, medical, access, legal/compliance) to optimize contracting, reimbursement, and site-of-care strategies
• Identify barriers in contracting, membership, distribution, formulary and pathways and drive durable access solutions
• Engage clinical leaders, administrators, pharmacy, finance, infusion operations, and care coordinators with proactive communications and data-driven insights
