Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a motivated Physician Coder to join our Remote Radiology Coding team. You will code CT, Ultrasounds and other radiology procedures, ensuring accurate ICD/CPT application while aligning with national guidelines.

This fully remote role offers flexible hours and Banner-provided equipment, with strong support resources across the organization. Ideal candidates hold an active CPC (not CPC-A) with radiology experience; 6 months to 1 year in coding radiology is preferred.

Qualifications

• CPC certification in active status required (not CPC-A)
• Experience coding radiology procedures preferred (CT, Ultrasound)
• Ability to work remotely with reliable technology and communication tools

Responsibilities

• Code radiology procedures according to ICD-CM and CPT4 guidelines
• Abstract and verify clinical information from medical records for accurate code assignment
• Ensure compliance with CMS, OIG, HCFA and other regulatory standards
