Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a motivated Physician Coder with radiology coding experience for a fully remote role. The coder will cover the Radiology group, coding CT, ultrasounds, and other modalities, with CPC in active status required or CPC-A accepted with 6 months radiology experience.

Qualifications

• Radiology coding experience required; CT/Ultrasound and other modalities coded
• Must be CPC, CCS, CCS-P, CCA, CPC-A, RHIA, or RHIT in active status

Responsibilities

• Code medical records per national coding guidelines (ICD/CPT) for radiology
• Abstract and document codes into EMR with complete information
• Provide quality assurance to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards
• Generate reports for department and analytics purposes
