Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a motivated Physician Coder to join our Radiology coding team. This fully remote role codes CT, Ultrasounds, and other modalities with CPC eligibility and compliant coding practices. Training is provided, and production focus remains key.

Ideal candidates have 6–12 months coding radiology experience and hold CPC or equivalent certification; remote work flexibility and ongoing support are offered by Banner Health.

Qualifications

• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or equivalent active status required.
• Experience coding radiology (CT, Ultrasound) preferred.
• Remote coding environment experience and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate medical records and assign ICD/CPT codes per guidelines.
• Abstract diagnoses, procedures and entries into EMR with accurate signatures.
• Ensure compliance with CMS, OIG, HCFA and other regulations.
• Compile daily/monthly reports and support data analysis.
• Work independently with guidance as needed in a remote setting.
