Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a motivated Physician Coder to join our Radiology coding team. This fully remote role covers CT and ultrasound coding across multiple modalities with flexible scheduling and strong support resources.

Qualified candidates must hold a CPC (active) with recent radiology coding experience; CPC-A accepted with minimum 6 months radiology coding. Training and ongoing support are provided. Remote work nationwide in approved states.

Qualifications

• Must have CPC/CCS/CCS-P/CCA/R CPC-A or RHIA/RHIT in active status with AHIMA or AAPC.
• Six months of professional coding experience in healthcare settings.
• Remote work capability and comfort with coding software.

Responsibilities

• Code radiology procedures (CT, ultrasound, all modalities) per national guidelines.
• Abstract diagnostic and procedure data into EMR and ensure complete records.
• Ensure compliance with CMS, OIG, HCFA and state regulations.
