Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a motivated, experienced Physician Coder to join our Radiology coding team in a fully remote role. The candidate should have CPC in active status and 6 months of coding experience, with radiology coding exposure across CT and ultrasound.

Qualifications

• Requires CPC/CCS/CCS-P/CCA/CPC‑A/RHIA/RHIT in active status with AHIMA or AAPC.
• Minimum six months professional coding experience in a healthcare setting.
• Experience coding radiology (CT, Ultrasound, all modalities) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Code medical records per national guidelines (ICD/CPT) and CMS requirements.
• Abstract and verify data from medical records into EMR with proper signatures and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with coding rules and regulatory standards; run reports as assigned.
