Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a motivated Physician Coder with Radiology coding experience for a fully remote role. The position requires active CPC certification (CPC, CCS, CCS-P, CCA, CPC-A with radiology experience acceptable) and covers Radiology modality coding including CT and ultrasounds.

Qualifications

• CPC certification in active status required.
• Radiology coding experience preferred.
• Remote work ability and equipment provided.
• Knowledge of ICD/CPT coding and CMS guidelines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Code diagnostic and procedural data per national guidelines.
• Abstract clinical data into EMR with complete records.
• Ensure compliance with CMS, OIG, HCFA rules and internal policies.
• Prepare daily/monthly coding reports when assigned.
