Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a motivated Physician Coder with 6 months to 1 year of coding experience to join our Radiology coding team. Active CPC certification is required; CPC-A accepted with radiology experience. This is a fully remote role, with flexible hours and nationwide coverage.

You will code CT, Ultrasounds and other modalities, supported by Banner Health’s resources and leadership. Onboarding includes training and ongoing career growth within a nationally recognized health system.

Qualifications

• Minimum one of: CPC, CCS, CCS-P, CCA, CPC-A, RHIA, or RHIT in active status with AHIMA/AAPC.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates medical records and assigns ICD/CPT codes for radiology and other modalities.
• Abstracts clinical information into EMR and ensures accuracy per guidelines.
• Provides quality assurance and supports coding-related inquiries and audits.
