Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a motivated Physician Coder with radiology coding experience to join our TeleCoding team. The role requires CPC in active status and covers radiology services including CT and Ultrasounds, with remote work options and flexible hours. Training and equipment are provided.

Candidates with CPC-A may be considered if radiology experience is proven. The successful coder will work in a remote Banner Health environment, supporting the Radiology group nationwide from selected

Qualifications

• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or equivalent active status with AAPC/AHIMA.
• Minimum six months of professional coding experience, radiology preferred.
• Ability to code CT and Ultrasound procedures.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate medical records and assign ICD-CM and CPT codes in radiology.
• Abstract diagnoses and procedures; ensure accuracy per coding guidelines.
• Adhere to regulatory and departmental productivity/quality standards.
• Work remotely with available support and resources.
