Job summary

Appsierra Group is seeking a QuickBooks Specialist for a remote contractor role who will review accounting workflows, validate data, and identify inconsistencies to improve accuracy.

You’ll work with QuickBooks Online and/or Desktop to manage invoicing, reconciliations, and financial reporting, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements, with strong attention to detail and analytical problem solving.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online and/or QuickBooks Desktop.
• Strong bookkeeping or accounting background.
• Experience with financial reporting and reconciliations.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when working with financial data.

Responsibilities

• Work with QuickBooks Online and/or QuickBooks Desktop.
• Manage invoicing, bill payments, and bank reconciliations.
• Generate and review Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports.
• Maintain and organize Charts of Accounts, customer records, and vendor records.
• Review accounting data for accuracy and consistency.
• Identify accounting errors, discrepancies, and workflow issues.
• Apply accounting and bookkeeping best practices when reviewing financial workflows.
• Use practical accounting judgment to identify potential issues in financial records and processes.
