Job summary

Appsierra Group is seeking an experienced QuickBooks Specialist for a remote contractor role. You will review workflows, validate data, and ensure accuracy across QuickBooks Online and Desktop, with emphasis on invoicing, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

The ideal candidate has strong bookkeeping experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to explain accounting issues clearly while applying best practices across multiple client engagements.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online and/or QuickBooks Desktop.
• Strong bookkeeping or accounting background.
• Experience with financial reporting and account reconciliations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when working with financial data.
• Ability to identify inconsistencies and explain accounting issues clearly.

Responsibilities

• Work with QuickBooks Online and/or QuickBooks Desktop.
• Manage invoicing, bill payments, and bank reconciliations.
• Generate and review Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports.
• Maintain and organize Charts of Accounts, customer records, and vendor records.
• Review accounting data for accuracy and consistency.
• Identify accounting errors, discrepancies, and workflow issues.
• Apply accounting and bookkeeping best practices when reviewing financial workflows.
• Use practical accounting judgment to identify potential issues in financial records and processes.
