citizenship. The engineer will work on migration plans, PQC implementations, and cryptographic modernization per NIST standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years IT experience with quantum computing and cryptography in a large organization or government agency.
• Master’s degree may substitute for up to 2 years of required experience.
• U.S. Citizenship required for this position.
• Security clearance level: Public Trust – Level 4.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Python, C++, and Java to implement and test cryptographic algorithms.
• Advise on migration to quantum-resistant algorithms and PQC strategies.
• Assess cryptographic inventory and identify migration priorities.
• Communicate quantum risk to non-technical leadership.
• Provide policy guidance for cryptographic modernization aligned with NIST PQC standards.
