Qualifications

• 10+ years IT experience with quantum computing and cryptography in large orgs or govt agencies
• Expertise in quantum mechanics, algorithms and information theory
• Experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Quipper, MS QDK)
• Proficiency in post-quantum cryptography and PQC standards (NIST)
• Familiarity with cryptographic standards and frameworks (NIST, ISO/IEC 19790)
• Ability to communicate quantum risk to non-technical leadership
• U.S. Citizenship required for this position

Responsibilities

• Utilize Python, C++, and Java to implement and test cryptographic algorithms
• Advise on PQC migration plans and PQC implementation strategies
• Assess cryptographic inventory and identify migration priorities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate quantum risk to leadership
• Provide policy inputs for cryptographic modernization aligned with NIST PQC standards
