Qualifications

• 10+ years IT experience with quantum computing/cryptography in large orgs or government
• Experience with quantum algorithms (Shor, Grover) and information theory
• Familiarity with PQC standards and post-quantum cryptography projects
• Knowledge of NIST/ISO standards and cryptographic frameworks
• Experience communicating quantum risk to non-technical leadership
• Willingness to travel occasionally
• U.S. Citizenship required for the role

Responsibilities

• Implement and test cryptographic algorithms in Python/C++/Java
• Advise on migration plans to quantum-resistant algorithms
• Assess cryptographic inventory and prioritise migrations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate quantum risk
• Provide policy inputs aligned with NIST PQC standards (FIPS 203-205)
