citizenship for a Public Trust 4 clearance. The role involves implementing PQC strategies, advising on migration plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams within a federal government client environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years IT experience with quantum computing and cryptography in large orgs or govt agencies.
• Expertise in quantum mechanics, quantum algorithms (Shor, Grover), and information theory.
• Experience with post-quantum cryptography and NIST PQC standards.
• Familiarity with NIST, ISO/IEC 19790 cryptographic standards.
• Security clearance: Public Trust – Level 4; U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Python, C++, and Java to implement and test cryptographic algorithms.
• Advise on quantum resistant algorithm migration and PQC strategies.
• Assess cryptographic inventory and set migration priorities.
• Communicate quantum risk to leadership; collaborate cross-functionally.
• Provide policy inputs for cryptographic modernization aligned with NIST PQC.
