Job summary

Maximus is hiring a Quality Control Analyst for the Veterans Evaluation Services team in a remote capacity. You will review MDE reports and DBQs, ensure accuracy, and coordinate with medical providers for corrections prior to VA submission.

This contract requires US citizenship or a Green Card. Training starts November 16, 2026, with onsite equipment provided by Maximus and strict travel/home-location rules for the remote setup.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; bachelor’s preferred.
• Two years of quality experience may substitute for the educational requirement.
• Healthcare/Quality experience favored.
• Intermediate knowledge of medical terminology.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Review MDE requests for consistency with the DBQ.
• Review MDE reports and DBQs for completeness and grammar.
• Communicate with medical providers to correct reports before VA submission.
• Verify special requests or second reviews are completed per VA preferences.
• Ensure diagnostics requested are completed and submitted with the final report.
• Perform daily queue maintenance and update notes as needed.
• Communicate with the Medical Advisory Board on complex cases.
• Meet weekly/monthly qualitative and quantitative goals.
