Job summary

Maximus is hiring a Quality Control Analyst for the Veterans Evaluation Services team. This remote role reviews MDE reports and DBQs for VA submissions, coordinating with medical providers to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

You will verify required diagnostics and manage daily queues while meeting VA quality targets. The position requires US residency and is scheduled to start November 16, 2026, with full-time hours and possible overtime.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two years of quality experience may substitute for education.
• Healthcare experience is favorable.
• Intermediate knowledge of medical terminology.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent multi-tasking skills.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Products.

Responsibilities

• Review MDE reports for consistency with DBQs.
• Review MDE reports and DBQs for completeness and grammar.
• Communicate with medical providers for corrections.
• Verify second reviews and VA preferences compliance.
• Ensure diagnostics requested are completed and submitted.
• Perform daily queue maintenance with updated notes.
• Coordinate with Medical Advisory Board on complex cases.
• Meet weekly/monthly qualitative and quantitative goals.
