Job summary

Maximus is currently hiring for Quality Control Analysts to join our Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) team. This is a remote opportunity designed to support VA medical examinations and questionnaires for veterans nationwide.

The Quality Control Analyst reviews MDE reports and DBQs for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to VA quality standards. Candidates must be US Citizens or Green Card holders, and be able to work the 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CT training schedule for 3–4 months, with overtime as

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two years of quality experience may substitute for educational requirement.
• Healthcare quality experience preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge of medical terminology.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Review MDE requests for consistency with the DBQ.
• Review MDE reports and DBQs for completeness and grammar.
• Coordinate with medical providers to correct MDE reports and DBQs.
• Verify special requests or second reviews per VA preferences.
• Ensure diagnostics requested are completed and submitted with the report.
• Maintain daily queue with updated notes and actions.
• Escalate cases to Medical Advisory Board as needed.
• Meet weekly/monthly qualitative and quantitative goals.
