Maximus is hiring a Quality Control Analyst to join the Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) team. This remote role involves reviewing MDE reports and DBQs for VA veterans, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and coordinating with medical providers. The position requires US citizenship or a Green Card, and you must reside in the Continental US. Training runs 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CT, with potential overtime, and the start date is Monday, November 16, 2026.
Qualifications
Requires an associate degree; bachelor’s degree preferred.
Two years of quality experience may substitute for education.
Experience in healthcare quality is preferred.
Intermediate knowledge of medical terminology.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong analytical and detail orientation.
Excellent multi-tasking and prioritization.
Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
Responsibilities
Review MDE requests for consistency with the DBQ.
Review MDE reports and DBQs for completeness and grammar.
Coordinate with medical providers to correct reports before VA submission.
Verify completion of special requests and second reviews.
Ensure all diagnostics are completed and submitted.
Perform daily queue maintenance and update notes.
Communicate with Medical Advisory Board on cases needing review.
Strive to meet weekly and monthly goals set by management and VA.
