Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Quality Control Analyst for the Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) team. The role is remote and focuses on reviewing MDE reports and DBQs for VA quality and timeliness.

Only US Citizens or Green Card holders can be considered. Training starts November 16, 2026, with required 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CT schedule for 3-4 months and potential overtime. Must reside in the Continental US.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two (2) years of Quality experience may substitute for educational requirement.
• Experience in Healthcare, Quality preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge of medical terminology.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent multi-tasking skills.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Products.

Responsibilities

• Review MDE requests for consistency with the DBQ.
• Review MDE reports and DBQs for completeness and grammar.
• Communicate with medical providers to propose corrections to MDE reports and DBQs.
• Verify that second reviews are completed per VA preferences.
• Ensure all diagnostics requested are completed and submitted.
• Perform daily queue maintenance with updated notes.
• Communicate with Medical Advisory Board as needed.
• Meet weekly/monthly qualitative and quantitative goals set by management and VA.
