Job summary

Maximus is hiring a Quality Control Analyst to review MDE reports and DBQs for veterans evaluated for the VA. This remote role requires US citizenship or a Green Card and begins November 16, 2026, with training from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CT, Monday–Friday for 3–4 months.

Ideal candidates have an Associate degree (Bachelor’s preferred) and 2+ years in healthcare quality, strong medical terminology knowledge, and excellent communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two years of quality experience may substitute.
• Healthcare quality experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Review MDE requests for consistency with the DBQ.
• Review MDE reports and DBQs for completeness and grammar.
• Communicate with medical providers to correct reports before submission.
• Verify special requests and second reviews per VA preferences.
• Ensure all diagnostics requested by providers are submitted with final reports.
• Perform daily queue maintenance and action tracking.
• Coordinate with the Medical Advisory Board on cases needing further review.
• Strive to meet weekly/monthly qualitative and quantitative goals.
