Job summary

Maximus is hiring a Quality Control Analyst for the Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) team in a remote position. You will review MDE reports and DBQs for accuracy, coordinate corrections with medical providers, and ensure timely submission to the VA.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two years of quality experience may substitute for education.
• Healthcare quality experience preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge of medical terminology.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Review MDE requests for consistency with the DBQ.
• Review MDE reports and DBQs for completeness and grammar.
• Coordinate with medical providers to correct MDE reports and DBQs prior to VA submission.
• Verify special requests and second reviews per VA preferences.
• Ensure diagnostics requested are completed and submitted with the final report.
• Perform daily queue maintenance with updated notes and actions.
• Communicate with the Medical Advisory Board on cases needing additional review.
• Aim to meet weekly and monthly qualitative and quantitative goals.
