Zippy is seeking a Manager of Quality Assurance to lead pre‑ and post‑close QA programs for loan origination across the United States in a remote environment. You will manage QA analysts, ensure timely and accurate file reviews, and drive improvements that reduce repeat issues while upholding policy and investor requirements.

The role demands deep end‑to‑end origination knowledge and the ability to translate findings into practical actions across cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in mortgage/consumer lending QA and quality control.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Ability to drive process improvements and operational efficiency.
• Excellent analytical and investigative abilities to identify root causes.
• Effective communication with cross‑functional partners and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre‑close and post‑close QA reviews across the loan origination lifecycle.
• Coach and develop QA analysts and manage performance and capacity.
• Maintain calibration and consistent review scoring with evidence.
• Monitor quality metrics, findings, and risk indicators.
• Escalate risks and drive corrective actions with cross‑functional teams.
• Ensure QA practices align with policy, regulatory, and investor requirements.
