Zippy, a remote-first lender focused on manufactured home loans, is seeking a Manager of Quality Assurance to lead pre-close and post-close QA programs. You will guide QA analysts, ensure timely, accurate file reviews, and identify risks before they impact borrowers, regulators, or investors.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in mortgage/ manufactured housing lending, loan operations, or QA-related roles.
• 3+ years of direct people-management experience, including coaching and performance management.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end loan origination and quality controls.
• Experience overseeing pre-close and post-close quality reviews preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation, and judgment.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA team for pre-close and post-close loan reviews across origination.
• Maintain calibration and consistency; ensure findings align with policy, regulation, or investor requirements.
• Manage daily queues, workloads, and capacity; balance speed and quality in reviews.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying root causes and implementing controls.
• Collaborate with Origination, Underwriting, Ops, Compliance, and Tech while maintaining QA independence.
