Maximus is hiring an Analyst, Pursuit Operations to support planning, coordination, and execution of complex business development pursuits and proposal activities. This role ensures pursuit readiness by managing schedules, workplans, trackers, calendars, and status reporting.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, deadline-driven, and collaborates with proposal, pricing, operations, and sales teams. You will monitor progress, track actions, identify risks, and use AI-enabled tools to improve

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field and 3+ years of professional experience.
• Experience organizing pursuit schedules, workplans, trackers, risk registers, and status reports.
• Attention to detail, deadline discipline, and cross-team coordination.
• Proficiency with Excel, Teams, and SharePoint preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support pursuit readiness activities by maintaining schedules, trackers, and workstream materials.
• Maintain workplans, action-item logs, decision trackers, calendars, risk registers, and status reports.
• Track owner assignments, due dates, dependencies, and follow-ups to support schedule adherence.
• Monitor milestones, flag schedule risks, and escalate barriers to leadership.
• Coordinate questions, meetings, reminders, and follow-ups across writing, pricing, operations, sales, and proposal teams.
• Prepare concise status updates summarizing progress, deadlines, risks, decisions, and next steps.
• Use AI-enabled tools to summarize updates, organize action items, and improve follow-up efficiency.
