Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Director of Pursuit Operations, Rapid Response, to guide the intake, assessment, prioritization, and coordination of new business opportunities across the organization. You will drive efficient evaluation, mobilize resources, and provide leadership visibility for informed decisions.

The role requires strategic and operational leadership in fast-paced environments, cross-functional stakeholder management, and experience guiding teams through complex initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 10+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience leading pursuit intake, triage, risk assessment, resource mobilization, and governance for complex opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the organization's first-response function for MSAs, RFIs, and other opportunities.
• Lead intake, qualification, triage, and resource mobilization for timely pursuit execution.
• Manage rapid-response processes for evaluating fit, alignment, resources, and competition.
• Provide strategic guidance to executives on pursuit readiness, deployment, and risk mitigation.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team with clear direction and accountability.
• Champion the use of approved AI-enabled tools to improve intake, triage, and reporting.
