Job summary

Maximus is hiring an Analyst, Pursuit Operations to support planning, coordination, and execution of complex business development pursuits and proposal activities. The role ensures pursuit readiness by managing schedules, workplans, trackers, calendars, and status reporting to meet key deadlines.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in relevant field and 3+ years of experience or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

Support pursuit readiness by maintaining schedules, trackers, and workstreams.
Maintain action-item logs, decision trackers, milestone calendars, risk registers, and status reports.
Track owner assignments, due dates, dependencies, open items, and follow-ups for schedule adherence.
Monitor milestones, flag risks, and escalate barriers requiring leadership attention.
Coordinate questions, meetings, reminders, and follow-ups across teams (writing, pricing, operations, sales).
Prepare concise status updates on progress, deadlines, risks, decisions and next steps.
Use AI-enabled tools to summarize updates and improve tracker maintenance and follow-up efficiency.
