Job summary

Zillow Group Inc. is seeking a purchase-focused Mortgage Loan Officer to originate and manage home loans for borrowers within Zillow’s ecosystem.

This remote Minnesota role offers the chance to work from home while collaborating with a nationwide team and leveraging Zillow’s platform and supported operations. You will guide borrowers from application through closing, meet KPI targets, stay current on loan programs, licensing, and regulatory requirements, and maintain active licenses.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mortgage origination experience with emphasis on purchase loans.
• Completed 20-hour CORE Pre-Licensing Education and passed SAFE MLO Test (NMLS).
• Physically located in Minnesota and working remotely from Minnesota.
• Proven success originating purchase loans in high-volume phone-based or agent-centric models.
• Strong client service orientation and consultative sales skills.
• Excellent communication and KPI-driven performance.
• Proficient with CRM, LOS, and Microsoft Office suites.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Originate and manage purchase mortgage loans from application through closing.
• Convert opportunities into funded loans through proactive follow-up and consultations.
• Build relationships with customers, Zillow Preferred Agents, and local partners.
• Maintain an active pipeline, meeting service levels and funding expectations.
• Leverage CRM, LOS, and data-driven tools to manage pipeline health.
• Collaborate with processing, underwriting and closing teams for efficiency.
• Deliver high-quality customer experiences via phone, email and text.
• Stay current on market trends, programs, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain active licensing and ongoing professional development.
