Job summary

Zillow Home Loans, part of Zillow Group, is seeking a purchase-focused Mortgage Loan Officer for a remote role. You will originate and manage purchase mortgage loans for borrowers within Zillow’s ecosystem, using data-driven tools and CRM to drive an efficient, compliant process.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in mortgage origination, active NMLS/CORE, and strong relationship-building skills. This position offers equity opportunities and a flexible, remote work environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mortgage origination experience with a focus on purchase transactions.
• Completion of the 20-hour CORE Pre-Licensing Education and successful passage of the SAFE Mortgage Loan Originator Test – National Component with Uniform State Content.
• Located within 75 miles of Atlanta, GA.
• Proven success originating purchase loans in high-volume phone-based sales or agent-centric referral models.
• Strong client service orientation with consultative sales skills and deep understanding of the mortgage process.
• Comfortable working in a structured, performance-driven environment with clearly defined KPIs.
• Proficiency with CRM, LOS, and Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Originate and manage purchase mortgage loans from application through closing, ensuring compliance.
• Convert opportunities into funded loans through proactive follow-up and borrower consultation.
• Build strong relationships with customers and Zillow Preferred Agents or local partners.
• Manage an active pipeline, meeting service levels and funding expectations.
• Leverage Zillow’s CRM and LOS to manage pipeline health and customer engagement.
• Collaborate with processing, underwriting, and closing teams to move loans efficiently.
• Deliver a high-quality customer experience via phone, email, and text.
