Job summary

Strategic Communications is seeking a Regional Sales Director for the Public Sector to drive new cloud and managed services deals. The role is remote with travel to customer sites (~25%), targeting state, local, education, and federal agencies.

You will build strategies, engage with C-level stakeholders, and partner with engineers to demonstrate ROI and value propositions, delivering consistent revenue growth in a competitive landscape.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of B2B sales with quotas.
• 2+ years selling IaaS (AWS/Azure/GCP), SaaS and security solutions.
• Prior government/state/local sales experience preferred.
• OEM certifications preferred.
• Strong IT terminology and ROI storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and close new public sector cloud services deals.
• Make a minimum of 30 cold calls per week to generate opportunities.
• Develop go-to-market expansion plans for Cloud revenues.
• Coordinate with engineers to deliver ROI-focused presentations.
• Prepare quotations and respond to RFPs.
• Maintain accurate opportunity tracking in CRM.
• Engage in ongoing sales training and events.
