Job summary

Geotab Inc. is seeking a Business Development Manager – Public Sector to expand new business relationships and drive sustainable growth in the public sector through sales strategies and strong customer and partner relationships.

You will research opportunities, develop strategic plans, build a solid pipeline, and establish cooperative contracts for Geotab’s sales channels. The role requires 5–8 years of related experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in sales, business development, or a similar role.
• Experience in sales, business development, customer development, account management, or related fields; experience in public sector may depend on the team.
• Proven track record in developing new sales and accounts.
• Experience in telematics is an asset.
• Strong aptitude for understanding technical and business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Grow new business across the public sector by pursuing opportunities and building a pipeline.
• Develop strategic business plans and lead the end-to-end process for cooperative contracts.
• Collaborate with PAMs, resellers, and internal teams to support proposals and plans.
• Identify differentiators and Geotab’s value proposition in the market.
• Travel up to 50% to meet clients and partners.
