Job summary

NWN is seeking a Business Architect for Public Safety to provide expert technical sales support and engineering services. You will analyze client needs, design solutions, craft proposals, and maintain key partner relationships across a niche public safety market.

The role requires deep knowledge of emergency communications technologies, cloud-based call handling, CAD, and AI-driven analytics, with a proven sales engineering track record and strong collaboration with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 4–6 years in technical leadership on integrations or support services.
• Minimum 5+ years designing complex communications systems; Public Safety domain preferred.
• Proven Sales Engineer or Solution Architect experience in public safety; able to support complex sales cycles.

Responsibilities

• Lead presales technical resource for Public Safety solutions and advise sales teams.
• Drive discovery, requirements gathering, architecture, and proposals for NG911 and cloud-based systems.
• Develop SOWs, BOMs, system designs, and quotes for integrated Public Safety solutions.
• Collaborate with vendors and NWN Product Management to accelerate deals.
• Attend customer meetings, events and provide training to sales and customers.
