Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Software Applications Specialist to lead workflow delivery for public safety software solutions. This remote role requires about 50% travel and candidates must reside near a major airport for travel ease; U.S.

residency required. You will gather requirements, analyze existing processes, design training, facilitate UAT, and collaborate with engineering and project managers to tailor COTS software to client needs while ensuring high-quality documentation and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT/Engineering or related field or 3+ years in public safety IT.
3+ years experience in Public Safety, Business Analysis, CAD, Record Management Systems, or Jail Applications.
Self-motivated team player who can work effectively with general guidance toward objectives.
Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customers.
U.S. work authorization; employer sponsorship not available.
CJIS Security Policy fingerprint background check may be required.

Responsibilities

Lead operational assessments and discovery events to understand customer processes in Public Safety.
Evaluate current processes and tailor Motorola software configurations to improve efficiency.
Facilitate business process reengineering with workshops to design new processes.
Design and deliver training curricula and materials; guide end-user training.
Define, coordinate, and lead UAT processes and document results against requirements matrix.
Liaise between technical resources, engineers, and project managers to meet customer needs.
Support project lifecycle to ensure timely delivery within scope and budget.
Present analysis results and project updates to stakeholders to gain buy-in.
