Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Software Applications Specialist to guide public safety agencies through workflow analysis, software integration, and tailored configuration of our COTS solutions.

You will design training, lead UAT, collaborate with engineers and project managers, and help departments optimize processes while meeting CJIS and security requirements. Remote with travel, applicants nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years in public safety IT field.
• 3+ years in Public Safety, Business Analysis, CAD, RMIS, or jail apps.
• Self-motivated team player; able to work with general guidance toward objectives.
• Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customer.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely; sponsorship not available.
• Position may involve CJIS security policy environments with fingerprint checks.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery and assessments of customer workflows in Public Safety.
• Evaluate processes and tailor configuration of Motorola's software solutions.
• Facilitate business process reengineering through workshops and analyses.
• Design and deliver training curriculum for end-users.
• Define, coordinate, and lead UAT processes and document results.
• Act as liaison between technical resources, engineers, and project managers.
• Support project delivery within scope and budget constraints.
• Present findings and updates to stakeholders for decision-making.
