Job summary

Handspring, a fast-growing virtual mental health clinic for youth, seeks a Clinical Operations Associate to own provider onboarding and drive scalable processes. You’ll welcome new providers, orient them to systems, and ensure timely readiness to deliver care from day one.

You’ll collaborate with Clinical Operations, Clinical Services and Product to improve workflows and training materials, shaping a proactive onboarding culture with strong communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in clinical operations, ideally at an early-stage digital health company.
• Owned a process end-to-end and improved it, ideally during rapid growth.
• Great communicator who makes complex systems approachable and can drive buy-in across teams.
• Resourceful systems thinker who designs scalable solutions and manages multiple onboarding cohorts.

Responsibilities

• Own the onboarding experience for newly hired providers from day 1 through their first weeks with patients.
• Welcome providers and serve as the primary contact during onboarding, answering questions and resolving issues quickly.
• Lead orientation and training sessions on Handspring’s clinical systems and workflows (EHR, scheduling, provider portal).
• Coordinate onboarding logistics such as system access, account setup, and documentation with cross-functional partners.
• Track provider onboarding progress and proactively flag/resolve blockers; oversee credentialing timelines.
• Define and continuously improve Handspring’s provider onboarding process and scaling efforts.
