Job summary

Handspring is hiring a Clinical Operations Associate - Provider Onboarding to own the provider onboarding experience for new hires. You will welcome providers, orient them to Handspring systems, and ensure they are set up to deliver high-quality care from day one.

You’ll lead onboarding process improvements, pitch solutions, and collaborate with Clinical Operations, Clinical Services, and Product to scale the program while maintaining high standards of provider and patient experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in clinical operations, ideally at an early-stage digital health company.
• Owned a process end-to-end and improved it during rapid growth.
• Strong communicator who can pitch ideas and drive projects across teams.
• Resourceful systems thinker who can scale onboarding cohorts and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Own the provider onboarding experience from first day through first weeks of care.
• Welcome new providers and serve as primary onboarding contact, resolving questions quickly.
• Lead orientation and training sessions on clinical systems and workflows (EHR, scheduling, portal).
• Coordinate onboarding logistics, system access, and required documentation.
• Track progress and flag blockers; oversee credentialing to keep schedules on track.
• Define and monitor onboarding metrics to measure success and guide decisions.
• Create, maintain, and improve training materials and process docs.
• Provide cross-functional support to improve provider and patient experience.
