Jobgether is seeking an Development Lead for Prospect Research & New Business Development in the United States. You will strengthen fundraising strategy through prospect research, pipeline development, and actionable recommendations across multiple funding channels.

You will improve data quality, reporting, and workflows in Salesforce while maintaining ethics and privacy. This remote role emphasizes cross-functional leadership and impact on clean energy funding initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• 5+ years in prospect research, prospect development, fundraising operations, donor services, or related nonprofit fundraising.
• Familiarity with Apra standards and ethical research.
• Experience identifying and qualifying prospects across multiple fundraising channels.
• Experience with individual giving and major-donor research is valuable.
• Proficiency with prospect research tools and methodologies (e.g., Salesforce, DonorSearch).
• Strong data analysis, reporting, and CRM improvement skills.
• Ability to translate research into actionable fundraising recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead prospect research and development across multiple fundraising channels.
• Build and maintain centralized prospect lists and pipelines with cross-functional input.
• Identify and assess domestic and international funding prospects.
• Prioritize opportunities aligned with unrestricted funding and major-donor prospects.
• Apply ethical research standards to capacity analysis, due diligence, and privacy-minded information management.
• Coordinate research delivery and prepare concise prospect briefings with recommendations.
• Manage prospect pipelines, track status, and ensure follow-up actions.
