Job summary

Foundant is seeking a senior leader for its Proposal, Bid, and Capture function. You will coach and develop a team of proposal professionals, drive end-to-end responses, and ensure timely, high-quality submissions across complex opportunities.

You will collaborate with Sales, Solution Engineering, Legal, and Compliance, leveraging tools like SharePoint, Salesforce, and Excel to optimize workflows and content governance. A track record of managing multiple simultaneous pursuits is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in proposal, bid, or capture roles.
• 2+ years managing proposal or bid professionals directly.
• Experience inside a capture or proposal function with best-practice processes.
• Track record of running several concurrent pursuits against fixed deadlines.
• Ability to secure commitments from peer functions.
• Excellent writing and editing.
• Fluency with procurement mechanics: RFI, RFP, RFT, addenda, portal submission.
• US state/county/city procurement experience.
• Comfort with SharePoint, Salesforce, and Excel.
• Experience coaching contributors, including across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team of proposal and security response professionals, set priorities and protect from unmanaged demand.
• Own the full response process from intake to submission and ensure high quality outputs.
• Own the response calendar, logistics, and compliance for timely and responsive submissions.
• Make go/no-go recommendations and provide sellers with fast, defensible answers.
• Scale how opportunities are identified and prioritized across markets.
• Partner with sales leadership to engage buyers pre-solicitation.
