Job summary

Foundant Technologies, Inc. is seeking a senior leader to direct the proposal and capture function, coaching a team of experienced professionals and coordinating with Sales, Solution Engineering, and Legal.

You’ll implement AI-assisted workflows, improve content libraries, and ensure timely, high-quality responses across opportunities, while building scalable processes to support growth and major client wins.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in proposal, bid, or capture roles, including at least 2 years managing proposal or bid professionals directly.
• Direct experience inside a capture or proposal function that used recognized best practice: qualification gates, structured reviews, content library governance, and disciplined win/loss analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to secure and hold commitments from peer functions you do not manage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team, coach and develop proposal and security response professionals.
• Own the full response process from intake through submission, ensuring quality and timeliness.
• Scale how we identify opportunities and partner with sales leadership on pre-solicitation engagement.
