Job summary

PSI Services is seeking a Proposal Writer to craft persuasive, compliant proposals. You’ll own tone and narrative across responses, analyze client requirements, and collaborate with subject-matter experts to deliver compelling content that differentiates our solutions.

You’ll work with the Bid Manager to align timelines, workflows, and reviews, while supporting remote work with occasional travel. A strong background in proposal writing and storytelling is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
3+ years of experience in strategic writing, proposal development, or business communications.
Familiarity with compliance-driven industries and proposal environments.

Responsibilities

Own the tone, flow, and strategic messaging across all proposal content.
Read and analyze RFPs, RFIs, and questionnaires to identify requirements and hot buttons.
Develop tailored win themes and persuasive messaging aligned to client needs.
Write and edit all narrative sections—executive summaries, solution descriptions, cover letters, compliance matrices.
Work closely with Business Development teams and SMEs to shape win themes and position our solution.
Customize reusable content to ensure relevance and strategic fit.
Translate SME input into clear content for client audiences; ask smart questions.
Review SME-provided text for voice and brand consistency.
Propose visuals to enhance storytelling and structure complex ideas.
Manage full proposal lifecycle from analysis to final submission when needed.
