Job summary

GFT is seeking a Proposal Specialist to join our BD&M team in the West (California/Phoenix/Seattle). The role is fully remote and centers on preparing proposals for capital public works and government agencies in California.

The successful candidate will manage kickoff, compliance matrices, deadlines, and cross-functional collaboration with technical teams and graphics. A minimum of 3 years in proposal work is required, along with a degree in marketing, journalism, or related fields and

Qualifications

• Degree in marketing, journalism, communications, business or applicable field.
• Minimum 3 years of combined prior proposal experience with increasing responsibility.
• 1-2 years of experience with RFP responses and some section writing experience.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, facilitate, and document proposal kick-off and color review milestones.
• Coordinate proposal resources and deadlines across teams.
• Prepare compliance matrices/outlines for RFP requirements and manage schedules.
• Edit and review technical sections and incorporate review changes.
• Enter key proposal data/milestones into CRM and support sales interview teams.
• Collaborate with graphic designers to develop proposals and presentations.
