Job summary

Cambium Assessment is seeking a Proposal Coordinator to join the Bids and Proposals team. You will identify bids, develop production plans, coordinate with cross-business teams, and drive the proposal from kickoff to award.

This role requires strong writing, analysis, and program-management skills to ensure timely, high-quality responses to RFPs. This role may require occasional visits to our Arlington, VA office for submission responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of proposal-related experience.
• Proven research and analytic skills, attention to detail and initiative.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to work autonomously and in groups.
• Experience with standardized proposal development processes and diverse procurement sites.

Responsibilities

• Identify bids that align with CAI’s work and mission using bid sites.
• Develop proposal production and delivery plans, schedule, compliance matrix and outline.
• Coordinate with cross-business teams and cost/pricing leads.
• Lead the proposal team from kickoff through contract award.
• Supervise day-to-day proposal production activities and resources.
• Identify delays; plan corrective actions to keep on schedule.
• Assist Proposal Director with writing section drafts as appropriate.
• Conduct in-depth review and quality control for submission.
• Oversee production and submission of the final proposal.
