Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education in insurance or business.
• Experience in property claims investigation, valuation, negotiation, and settlement.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain adjuster licenses within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve personal and commercial property claims, including damage assessment, coverage review, and settlement determinations.
• Deliver customer-focused service by communicating with policyholders via phone and internal channels.
• Coordinate with contractors and independent adjusters for inspections and services.
• Support specialized activities such as contents valuation and depreciation calculations.
• Follow established claims procedures for coverage verification, loss investigation, valuation, and settlement.
• Aim to close a minimum of 70 claim elements per month (85 for contents-focused roles).
• Support catastrophe claims and be prepared for occasional overnight travel or extended stays.
• Collaborate with agents, underwriting, marketing, and other stakeholders.
