Job summary

State Farm is seeking a Property Field Inspection Claim Specialist to manage on-site inspections for homeowners, commercial properties, and large losses. You will serve as the first contact to explain coverage, estimate damages, and guide insureds through the claims process while delivering Remarkable service.

The role requires field inspections, collaboration with policyholders and agents, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to investigate problems, evaluate information, and make well-supported decisions.
• Ability to interpret detailed policies, guidelines, or technical information and apply them accurately to real-world situations.
• Ability to quickly learn unfamiliar concepts, processes, and terminology and apply that knowledge accurately in practical situations.
• Proficiency in using mobile/desktop tools to document and support claims both in the field and remotely.
• A valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections and assessments of property damages for residential and commercial claims.
• Gather evidence, document findings, and prepare detailed reports to support the claims handling process.
• Investigate and adjust both personal and commercial property claims with exposures up to $500,000.
• Negotiate and settle claims within the authorized limits, considering policy provisions and company guidelines.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the claims process, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
