Travelers is hiring an Associate Claim Representative, Outside Property, serving Salisbury, MD; Denton, MD and Dover, DE. This remote field role includes structured training, license attainment, and eventual independent claims handling with a company vehicle provided for travel within the territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Previous internship or work experience in customer service or insurance.
• Willingness to obtain an active adjuster license where required by state law.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); willingness to learn claims management and estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Review, investigate, and document 1st party property claims under direct supervision.
• Gather information from policyholders, claimants, witnesses, and third-party providers.
• Learn to investigate and evaluate facts and information relevant to claims.
• Determine and apply coverage for building damages per policy terms.
• Establish accurate scope of damages for building and contents losses.
