Job summary

Travelers is seeking a Claims Representative, Outside Property, in a remote capacity to service a Virginia-based territory. You will inspect and evaluate damages, determine coverage and negotiate settlements with customers and stakeholders while maintaining high service standards.

You will collect information from insureds, inspectors and vendors, prepare estimates, and support ongoing claims through digital tools and a strong knowledge of policy terms. A valid license and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Two years of property claim experience.
• Active adjuster license where applicable.
• Proficient in claims management and estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Review, investigate and document first party property claims under limited supervision.
• Gather information from policyholders, claimants and third-party vendors.
• Determine coverage for property damages and establish scope of losses.
• Provide timely communication to customers and stakeholders.
• Maintain claim records in management systems.
