Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an experienced Property Claims Adjuster (Inside) to work remotely in the United States for a partner company. You will investigate, evaluate, negotiate and resolve property insurance claims via phone and remote channels, covering personal and commercial property losses.

You will collaborate with adjusters, contractors, and internal teams to ensure compliant, timely resolution and maintain high service standards.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent education in insurance or business.
• Strong knowledge of property claims investigation, valuation, negotiation, and settlement techniques.
• Experience handling personal and commercial property claims.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain adjuster licenses within six months of hire.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with policyholders, agents, and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve property claims for personal and commercial losses, including coverage verification and loss assessment.
• Negotiate settlements, determine claim values, and close claims.
• Coordinate with independent adjusters and preferred contractors for field inspections and repairs.
• Assist resolution specialists with contents valuation, depreciation holdbacks, and related tasks.
• Follow established claims procedures and regulatory requirements throughout the lifecycle.
• Meet productivity targets, e.g., 70 claim elements per month (85 for contents-focused roles).
• Support catastrophe claims operations across the service territory as needed, including travel.
• Collaborate with agents, underwriters, and other stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate service.
