Job summary

Jobgether on behalf of a partner company is seeking a Property Claims Adjuster (Inside) based in the United States. The role handles both personal and commercial property losses and investigates, negotiates, and resolves claims through phone-based and remote channels.

You will work with independent adjusters and contractors, ensure compliance with policy coverage and regulatory requirements, and maintain a steady monthly workload while advancing in property insurance.

Qualifications

• A college degree or equivalent education in insurance or business.
• Strong knowledge of property claims investigation, valuation, negotiation, settlement techniques, and claims management practices.
• Ability to investigate claims thoroughly, assess documentation and damages, exercise sound judgment, and reach appropriate settlement decisions.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain all required adjuster licenses within six months of hire.
• Experience handling personal and commercial property claims.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve property claims: review losses including structural damage, contents, ALE, scheduled property and business income; assess coverage and determine claim values.
• Deliver customer-focused claims service by communicating with policyholders via phone and other channels.
• Coordinate external claims support by assigning contractors and independent adjusters as needed and review their work.
• Support resolution specialists with tasks like contents valuation and depreciation holdback calculations.
• Follow established claims procedures for communication, coverage verification, loss investigation, valuation, negotiation and settlement.
• Meet productivity targets: close an average of 70 claim elements per month (85 for contents-focused roles).
• Contribute to catastrophe response with potential overnight travel or extended stays.
• Collaborate across teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth claims handling.
