Job summary

SOLV Energy’s SDI Services affiliate seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee day-to-day operations on solar PV projects, including drilling pile installation, racking, module installation, quality control, and contract changes. This fully remote role requires coordinating across field and office teams to meet objectives safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

4-year degree in Construction (or related field) from an accredited university.
Minimum of 7 years’ experience or an equivalent combination of experience and skills.
PMP preferred, but not required.
Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Strong leadership, communication, and client service skills.

Responsibilities

Plan, direct, supervise, and control execution of technical, fiscal, and administrative project functions.
Determine technical skills and staff hours required for project success.
Obtain and circulate technical and contractual information to the project team.
Prepare reports and documentation for client and management.
Prepare notices and change order documentation for the client and management.
Set schedules and budgets; coordinate with procurement and subcontractors.
Support customer relationships at a professional level and assist design decisions.
Set goals for field management, subcontractors, and vendors and ensure on-task delivery.
Manage performance and quality of field teams to meet deadlines.
Coordinate material and equipment deliveries to maintain production efficiency.
Enforce safety, policies, and best practices; attend site walks and planning meetings.
